BPS Partners with BHCC for ESOL Courses
Brockton Public Schools has partnered with Bunker Hill Community College to help Brockton residents who need English as a Second Language courses. The non-credit courses are $389 for 15 weeks through Workforce Development and Community Education.
Each student is required to:
- take an online placement test as part of the registration process
- there are no other fees associated with registration
- students earn a certificate of completion at the end of the course
Students receive a free book and loaner laptops are available on a case-by-case basis, if needed.
The faculty are all Master's and Ph.D level instructors with long-term experience working as ESL educators in higher education. Courses will be delivered exclusively online for the fall semester using a Cambridge Learning platform over Zoom.
Students who complete the highest level will be eligible for admission to BHCC and may pursue a range of certificate or degree programs.
