*** Smart Start Extended Day Update - Interested families are welcome to apply, all new applications will be put on a waitlist for the 2026-2027 school year. As spaces becomes available sites will contact families directly to establish a start date.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT OPENING:

The Extended Day Program will open at all schools on Thursday, Sept. 3. We offer a morning session starting at 7 a.m. and an afternoon session that closes at 6 p.m. at the Angelo, Arnone, Baker, Brookfield, Davis, Downey, George, Gilmore, Hancock, Kennedy and Raymond Schools.  

PLEASE SEE THIS:

Once a registration form is submitted online for the Extended Day Program, a site supervisor will call you and inform you of your child's start date. Your child cannot attend the program until you have been contacted by a site supervisor.  Registrations will be processed in the order that they are received and as quickly as possible.

Smart Start Extended Day is a Funded Program as defined by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and adheres to all policies set forth by EEC for Funded Programs, including the acceptance of childcare contracts and vouchers. The program maintains a staff-to-student ratio of 1:13. 

****We follow all health and safety guidelines for COVID-19 that have been adopted by the Brockton Public Schools, by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
