Teen Healthy Relationship Peer Leader Recruitment

 

Are you a high school student who can give five hours a week to bring awareness to dating violence and the need to build healthy relationships?

Family and Community Resources Inc., in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro South and Cape Verdean Women United seek five students per site currently living in Brockton to be a part of the new Healthy Relationships Program, funded by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
 

Potential peer leaders should be high school students from varying racial, cultural and ethnic backgrounds who are committed to this goal. Candidates should have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable with public speaking and/or willing to develop such skills. Meetings are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. One hour of virtual at-home training is required. Pay is at a rate of up to $12 an hour.
